Mara Maisha Tented Camp

Maisha Mara

What if the Easter holiday is more than just a long weekend off?

What does Easter mean?

Easter is a holiday set apart every year in April, which includes Good Friday on April 3rd, Palm Sunday on April 5th, and Easter Monday on April 6th, a season to reflect, reset, rest, and connect with Christ, family, nature, and yourself. But how do you always celebrate this special holiday and make it a memorable experience?

Instead of staying the entire Easter holiday indoors, why don’t you choose something different in 2026, like watching the sunrise and sunsets over endless savannahs at the Mara Maisha Camp?

In the heart of the Masai Mara National Reserve, Mara Maisha Camp is located, offering you the best destination to slow down, breathe again, and feel present.

In this piece, I will take you through my Easter holiday experience in 2025 for 3 days, which Adequate Safaris made special for me at the Mara Maisha Camp, a moment of renewal that I carried with me even after I left.

Booking Process

Planning and booking a holiday escape should be the most stress-free experience. With Ain the picture, the booking process was simple, personal, and guided from choosing the accommodation to excursions during my easter holiday that will resonate with the purpose of the season completely. I was impressed.

It began with a simple call that I made after finding their contact on their website, adequatesafaris.com. I conversed with one of the most incredible tour consultants who took the time to understand what I really wanted. She asked questions like what kind of the easter experience I was looking for, is it a solo, relaxed safari, a romantic escape, a family safari, or a group safari. She also asked more about the travel dates and the group size, but this time around, it was a solo escape for my spiritual, physical, mental, and emotional fulfillment and growth.

Before the close of business that day, a detailed itinerary and a quotation were shared with me via email. The quotation included the following:

  • Accommodation at the Mara Maisha Camp
  • Transport ( road option), the price goes higher when you choose the flight option.
  • Activities
  • Meals ( full board)

Interestingly, she also shared more information that I would need, like what to pack for a safari at the Mara and what to expect, so that I travel with confidence, not half-informed.

Even after your booking, the Adequate Safaris team was always available 24/7 in case I popped up with questions that needed clarity or any adjustments. They are always ready to help to ensure you get the best experience.
