I made that call immediately, and with no hesitation, one of the team members got back to me and helped us plan our day tour to the Olkaria Geothermal Spa with so much ease, ensuring everything we wanted was noted with so much consideration, so that they do not miss a thing.
Before the close of business, I received a well-detailed itinerary of how the day would be spent, and how much each of us would contribute to ensure we had a successful day. The Journey
Our journey began at 8:00 am with a friendly driver from Adequate Safaris who was not only a driver, but also a tour guide who was always narrating stories to us.
As usual, while travelling towards the Naivasha route, the first stop is always the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint point where we got to take photos as we enjoyed the beautiful views of the Rift Valley escarpment and Mt. Longonot and even thought at some point after our Geothermal Spa trip, we could challenge ourselves and do hiking at Mt. Longonot.
Later, we got into our cruiser and headed straight to Hell’s Gate National Park. Adequate Safaris had customised the itinerary so perfectly for us that we couldn’t get to the Geothermal Spa without enjoying a day game drive at Hell’s Gate.
The Geothermal Spa Experience
On getting to the entrance, they confirmed our payments, then we were given the 2 options to enjoy the gamedrive through cycling or in the cruiser.
During the game drive, we came across zebras, buffalo, gazelles, and baboons.
The most interesting part of this game drive we visiting the obsidian cave, which was interesting, and we learnt a lot about how the obsidian rocks were formed, which led to the formation of the obsidian cave.

After the incredible game drive, we went straight to the Olkaria Geothermal Spa. We were very excited for this experience. We went straight to the changing rooms and changed into our swimming costumes, ready to experience the hot swimming pool, which holds hundreds of people, and we gave water the power to do its thing to ensure our goal is achieved.
We had so much fun competing to see who was the best swimmer in the group. We later got into a one-hour wellness session where we engaged in yoga, meditation, breathwork and art therapy to foster deep healing.
We left the Olkaria Geothermal Spa feeling so much fulfilled. All credit goes to Adequate Safaris for ensuring our trip was memorable and worth it.
Conclusion
One thing is for a fact, despite chasing careers, money, and family, we truly needed time for ourselves. This road trip was highly needed to keep us rejuvenated and relaxed. This trip was also a perfect bonding time for us to build our friendship ever since we decided to start doing life together.
